August 3, 2010 - Brighton, CO: The Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce record participation in their annual golf tournament. This year nearly 200 players, 70 donors, 56 sponsors and 65 volunteers worked together to raise approximately $61,000. Sixty percent of the net golf tournaments proceeds support the Platte Valley Medical Center Foundation’s efforts to provide ongoing philanthropic support for expanded healthcare programs and services at Platte Valley Medical Center.
The 27th Annual Brighton Chamber Open Golf Tournament commenced on Monday, July 19, 2010 at The Ranch Country Club in Westminster. Two rounds of eager golfers spent the beautiful day golfing and ended with an awards dinner honoring the day’s most avid golfers.
"The Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce golf tournament was a wonderful event that allowed Chamber members an opportunity to network with other businesses and support an extremely valuable foundation in our community," said Brian Cohen with Haselden Construction.
The Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce and Platte Valley Medical Center Foundation want to thank everyone for their support in making this event a success.
