Dear Commerce City Business Owners, Developers, Property Owners and Investors:
In our ongoing quest to create a “Quality Community for a Lifetime,” the city continues to take an extensive look at our local business and development climate. It is the hope that at the end of this journey we will have learned from our businesses and developers exactly how we can help them build, grow and succeed in Commerce City. Therefore, it is with great pleasure and anticipation that I extend this invitation to you to participate in this year’s Commerce City Business and Development Summit.
Last year many of you accepted my invitation to the first Business and Development Summit. Thank you! Your valuable information enabled city staff to move forward with a better understanding of the needs of our business community.
This year’s summit will be Friday, February 11, 2011, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., in the Council Chambers at the Commerce City Civic Center (7887 E. 60th Avenue). Please RSVP by email to c3ed@c3gov.com or call 303-289-3620.
Like last year, the summit is designed to provide you with the opportunity to help direct the city's future business and development efforts. The city will first present a summary of action taken during the past 12 months. The rest of the meeting will focus on you. We want to know what you like about doing business in Commerce City, and we want to know how we can improve.
To prepare for the summit, please visit http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22BQZ6PLP3D/ to take a short survey. The survey consists of 24 questions and should not take more than five minutes to complete. The results will help us prepare for the summit and, more importantly, assist us in drafting future policies and programs that will benefit businesses and developers. Please note that the survey will close on Monday, February 7.
Thank you for your investment and commitment to this city. I look forward to hearing from each and every one of you on February 11.
Regards,
Jerry Flannery
City Manager
