Commerce City "We need to be sure that we are not left behind in ED..."
Will we ever see Development @ the Prairie Gateway site in Commerce City, CO??? It has been years since the Commerce City Civic Center and Rapids stadium have been built and still no economic development. I guess patience is really a virtue.

Ribbon Cuttings in Commerce City!!!

Created by Commerce City...

Ribbon cuttings provide a great opportunity to welcome new businesses to the community and celebrate their start up success. Mayor Paul Natale, Mayor Pro-Tem Tracey Snyder, Council Member Jim Benson, City Manager Jerry Flannery and the Commerce City Economic Development team recently attended ribbon cuttings for Reunion Orthodontics and Archibald Family Dentistry. Both businesses are located in the new professional office building at 18335 E 103rd Ave, near E 104th Ave and Tower Rd. These events were sponsored by the Metro North Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Sam Archibald and his team at Archibald Family Dentistry meet family dentistry needs using advanced clinical skills and state of the art equipment. Meeting client needs for health, comfort, and convenience are top priorities for Dr. Archibald and his team. (www.archibaldfamilydentistry.com)

At Reunion Orthodontics, Dr. Albert Eng and Dr. Trent Nestman, have set a goal to provide the highest quality orthodontic care in a comfortable, family-oriented environment. They are dedicated to providing both adults and children with the beautiful smiles they deserve. (www.reunionorthodontics.com)

In April, Commerce City will again celebrate business success. Alpine Waste & Recycling is set to become the biggest privately held company in Colorado to install and use an on-site, natural gas fueling station. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for April 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. The ribbon-cutting event will be held at Alpine’s headquarters, 7475 E. 84th Ave. in Commerce City. The general public is welcome!

Alpine Waste & Recycling is the largest privately held commercial waste and recycling collection company in the Denver area. In partnership with Seal Beach, Calif.-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp., Alpine broke ground on installation of the 26 natural gas pumps last fall. Alpine took delivery of its first natural gas truck two years ago, currently has eight natural gas trucks, and plans to convert about 30 percent of its 50-vehicle fleet to natural gas by the end of this year. The natural gas trucks burn fuel more cleanly and more quietly, and the focus on natural gas helps reduce the nation’s dependence on foreign oil. (www.alpinewaste.com)
