By 9News.comAn eye doctor who routinely worked with children at a Walmart is accused of having child pornography on his computer, and 9News reported that he's being investigated in the alleged molestation of a young girl at the store.
Dr. Diego Posada, 42, worked at All Eyes on You, the vision center at the Walmart at East 60th Avenue and Dahlia Street in Commerce City. He was arrested Friday in Florida and is facing extradition to Colorado.
The allegation surfaced in October when a 4-year-old girl's mother contacted Commerce City police, according to court documents obtained by 9News. They also indicate Walmart was notified of a molestation accusation by a family in 2006. That family told police a Walmart employee repeatedly told them that they would be deported if they reported Posada to authorities.
Police searched Posada's computer and, according to an affidavit, found child pornography. He traveled to Colombia, but his lawyer says it was to visit his ailing grandmother. He was arrested on his return in Florida.
