Now through September 30, Canopy Airport Parking near DIA is offering EXpressToll customers a "Summer Special" of $5 per day for outdoor parking and 25 percent off of its regular covered self-park and indoor valet rates. Customers must have a properly mounted EXpressToll transponder and a coupon printed from the EXpressToll Rewards page at www.expresstoll.com.

In addition, people can sign up for an EXpressToll account at Canopy Airport Parking and receive a voucher in the mail for three free days of parking for any type of parking service on their next visit.

Canopy Airport Parking is located at 8100 Tower Road, which is west of E-470's Pena Boulevard interchange and north of the Tower Road exit from Pena Boulevard. The company offers customers additional services, including car washing and detailing.

E-470 is a toll road that runs along the eastern perimeter of the Denver metropolitan area. The 75-mph highway extends 47 miles from State Highway C-470 at I-25 in Douglas County, ending at I-25 just south of 160th Ave., in Thornton.

According to the recent Retail Coach Report, existing retailers cannot meet the demand of the city’s growing population. The residents of Commerce City are shopping and spending their money in other cities and that is what is known as “leakage”.

How bad is the leakage in Commerce City? It is around $300,000,000 annually. It is time for the city to try and recoup its losses.

This Retail Coach Report is with the Economic Development team in Las Vegas at the ICSC (International Conference of Shopping Centers) to show potential businesses what opportunities are available right here inside the city.

The following is the breakdown of leakage dollars flowing out of the city annually:

$91,000,000 in Radios, TVs and Computers
$19,000,000 in Home Furnishings
$88,000,000 in Eating Places
$59,000,000 in Groceries
