Each year, the Business and Investor Appreciation event provides the opportunity for the city to say thank you to businesses, property owners and other organizations for their investment in Commerce City. This year’s event will be a breakfast held Friday, September 9, 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Civic Center.New this year, the city is hosting a Business Resource Fair in conjunction with the appreciation event. Community organizations will be available to address questions on topics including small business loans, workforce assistance, Enterprise Zone tax credits, business development and government contracting assistance for your business.
The Business Resource Fair will be open throughout the event, 7-9 a.m.

- ACCION International – offering small business & micro-loans
- Adams County Economic Development – Enterprise Zone Tax Credits administrator
- Adams County Workforce & Business Center – workforce development assistance
- Colorado Association for Manufacturing and Technology – manufacturers’ assistance
- Colorado Procurement Technical Assistance Center – government contract assistance
- Metro North Chamber of Commerce – regional chamber of commerce
- Minority Business Association - Commerce City business association
