The Brighton Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit Council is comprised of chamber member representatives who understand the value of strong partnerships between non-profit organizations and community businesses. The basic concept propelling the council is simple... Working together is 'Good Business'!Non-Profits help drive a community. They provide support to our neediest, most vulnerable citizens, often saving taxpayers thousands of dollars in funding that would be spent by our government in providing the resources that they do. Non-Profits provide access to art, entertainment, education and needed services. They also support those community members who, with a helping hand, have the potential to accomplish great things, thus making our community better and more conducive for 'Good Business'!
Most non-profits are powered by a strong, loyal support base that consists of donors, volunteers and the many passionate individuals who are committed to the causes that non-profits represent. Basically, non-profits possess the valuable resource of... people. What do businesses need most? People... especially those who can easily be converted into loyal customers!
