Will we ever see Development @ the Prairie Gateway site in Commerce City, CO??? It has been years since the Commerce City Civic Center and Rapids stadium have been built and still no economic development. I guess patience is really a virtue.

Brighton Economic Development Corporation Announces Executive Officers for 2011-2012

December 10, 2010---Brighton, CO--- The Brighton Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) is pleased to announce the 2011-2012 BEDC Board of Directors Executive officers. The announcement was made at the BEDC Annual Meeting on December 7, 2010 at The Armory at Brighton Cultural Center. The new executive committee includes Alan Lemons with Wells Fargo, past chair; James Vigessa with Bleeker Vigesaa Brown, Chair; Brian Cohen with Haselden Construction, Vice Chair; Jarod Pate with DePaul Real Estate Investment Group, Treasurer; and Torben Poulsen with Vestas Nacelles America, Secretary.

“The 2011-2012 BEDC Board of Directors Executive Committee is an extremely dynamic group of individuals who are certain to lead BEDC to another successful year,” said President and CEO of BEDC Raymond Gonzales.

BEDC also recognized board members for their years of service including Valerie Escatel with Valley Bank and Trust, Troy Whitmore with United Power, Jim Hall With First Bank and Norm DeHart with Guidance Corporate Realty.
