Salary $114,479 - $135,000 DOQCity Manager, Jerry Flannery, is looking for a dynamic leader. Responsibilities include advising City Manager and City Council on the effective, efficient, and economical practices in general areas of management and assigned oversight of the Information Technology Department, Human Resources Department and Finance Department. Incumbent must demonstrate strategic planning and ability to provide sound recommendations on a variety of diverse issues concerning city and community activities. Requires proven ability to develop short and long range goals and objectives; oversee the development, preparation, and administration of the budget; supervise, coach, and evaluate the work of directors, and/or other assigned staff; coordinate activities with other City departments to ensure effective working relationships; and speak before groups on the plans, programs, and goals of the area of assignment.

Qualifications:
Candidate must be a self-starter, have excellent communication, customer service and management skills as well as be politically astute with understanding roles and relationships involved with a City Council form of government and ability to remain apolitical in aspects of issues confronting the city and community. Master’s Degree in Public Administration or related field preferred, however, extensive public sector experienced may be substituted for graduate education. EOE
