The Metro North Chamber of Commerce has set its sights on aggressively growing its regional business network from 1,000 active members to over 1,500 businesses over the course of the year. Part of its plan involves a partnership with SunDrenched Vacations and Funjet Vacations to offer current Chamber members an opportunity to enter to win a beach vacation for two to El Cid Castilla Beach Resort in Mazatlan , Mexico when they personally help to grow the network through membership referrals. “In an effort to ensure that we have strong, sound communities in which to live, your Metro North Chamber works to advocate on behalf of businesses at the local, state and federal level as well as provides valuable benefits and services to business throughout the region,” said Deborah Obermeyer, CEO/President of the Metro North Chamber of Commerce. “Our objective is to reach out to all businesses so that they can flourish. When businesses flourish, then so too do our communities, therefore we want to ensure we are impacting as many businesses as possible.”
Obermeyer added, “Metro North Chamber members understand the value in growing their own business network and are our main source for connecting with other business partners. The ‘New Member Referral’ campaign simply helps encourage and thank those members for their stewardship.”
SunDrenched Vacations and Funjet Vacations, two respected names in the travel industry, have partnered with the Metro North Chamber to offer the all-inclusive beach vacation.

Metro North Chamber members can participate in the ‘New Member Referral’ campaign through the middle of July, 2011. The drawing for the winner of the trip will take place on July 28, 2011 at the Chamber Challenge 5K Run.
